One-off welded bronze sculpture of a monkey scratching its head. This work was originally part of a small group of monkeys called ‘Hanging Around,' all engaging with new technology (reading the news on an iPad, looking at others gaming, listening to music). This is the monkey that is confused by it all, trying to understand - that feeling of trying to fathom new tech. Its also hard to fathom how all-pervasive these devices have become and how addictive they can be. It's a sign of our times and the sculpture is a reflection of this.
