Joe Kemp: Carving a Pathway of Humanity

Exhibition 6 April - 23 April 2019. A collection of contemporary whakairo (carving) by Māori sculpture artist Joe Kemp (Ngai Tahu, Ngapuhi and Te Arawa - Ngati Makino). The exhibition includes standing and wall-mounted wood sculptures with moko (tattoo) carving and whale bone inserts for eyes.
