For well over 10 years now Bill has been making a name for himself as a leading New Zealand commission bronze sculptor and ceramics teacher.

- commissioned to produce bronze plaques as part of Sir Edmund Hillary Ice Axe memorabilia case,
- commissioned to produce a copper and ceramic fountain for the entrance to The Lake House Art Centre
on the North Shore
- Created a bronze entrance-way for Wairakia Golf Course

I have been enthralled in the act of creation for many years now, and this body of work (the wall reliefs) represents an exciting new direction for me. I see them as a narrative about the process of creating sculpture.
